Reading, Studying Torah (one of my favorite topics is Tisha B'Av, which is a very sad day on the Jewish Calendar, but which I find to offer a tremendous opportunity to see where and how Jews fit into Judaism and what the juxtaposition of the various holidays means for us day-by-day throughout the year), Basketball, Swimming, Travel, Clipping out newspaper articles of interest to friends and relatives and sending them to them, Painting, Sketching, Shopping at Yard Sales, Attending Auctions, Collecting things with Character, Writing, Comedy, Working with Wood, Meeting New People, Driving in the Country on scenic roads, Homeopathy, Handwriting Analysis, Reflexology, Charity (My charity of choice is the Hebrew Free Burial Association), Delivering the occasional Devar Torah or homily should the Rabbi be on vacation.
