Mr. Kopf "spun this tale" while driving his son back and forth on visitation weeekends from Boston to Poughkeepsie and back again. His son Seth was three or four years old and kept asking for the story of the Green and White Airplane to be told along with other ditties that his dad would relate to keep his entertained suring the trip..

Recently, over the last number of months, the story has come into play and Mr. Kopf may finally get to see the book published so that other children may get a chance to enjoy the story.
